Guru Nanak bestowed the greatest and deserved honour to woman who has long been relegated to subjugation since time immemorial when he stated in his personally revealed divine revelations in the form of the Living Word - Shabad Guru (Guru Granth Sahib) - that, ‘why call her inferior from whom kings are born’.
